Surgery
At AMC, we understand how difficult it can be to leave your pet in someone else’s hands for surgery. That’s why we have committed to getting to know each pet individually to ensure their needs are met. From extra warm blankets to one-on-one snuggling, we know how to ease anxiety. Rest assured we are using a combination of attentive staff, diagnostics, and modern equipment to maximize the safety of every pet in our care. Best of all, most pets get to go home the same day! The morning of their surgery, your pet will have an exam and blood work. This gives the doctor the information they need to make any necessary anesthetic changes. All patients also receive an IV catheter in which they receive fluids to keep them hydrated during their procedure. Fluid administration is a vital component of your pet’s recovery. Our team will ensure your pet receives nothing but excellent care to maximize a positive outcome. Our team of skilled doctors perform a variety of surgeries, from routine to more complex procedures. Call us today to discuss the needs of your fur baby.
